What are you studying?

We are studying the interaction  between intimate relationship quality and HIV viral load.

How do I get paid?

After you complete a project milestone at three month intervals (survey or survey and specimen together), you will receive an incentive. We will email a virtual gift card to the email address you provide on the screener. For more information, please see our incentives page. 

Can I join?

We are recruiting transfeminine individuals living with HIV for a six month study. Participants will need to have been in a romantic relationship for at least six months prior to the start of the study.

What happens to my information?

Your identifying information is being stored securely and apart from your research information. The information will be de-identified to maintain privacy  while conducting the data analysis. The de-identified data could be used for future research.

How many people are participating?

Our goal is to have 100 partnered transfeminine people with HIV complete this study.

Why are you recruiting transpeople?

Within the Trans communities, there are various groups that experience different factors related to romantic relationship quality and HIV status. This study is looking at one group to understand specific factors related to their gender experience.
