Jayelin Parker, MPH
Jayelin Parker is a Project Manager on Project SWERVE, a study that focuses on substance use and HIV care among sexual and gender minority youth in the Southeast Michigan. Jayelin holds a Masters of Public Health from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Michigan-Flint.
Prior to working at The Center for Sexuality and Health Disparities, Jayelin worked with the Pediatric Public Health Initiative in Flint, Michigan on a fruit and vegetable prescription program, targeting underprivileged communities. Jayelin’s research interests include women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, food security and nutrition, and gender and LGBTQ health equity.
